Taboga desalination plant project completion

GES has successfully completed the design, construction, comissioning  and one year of operation of the desalination plant on the island of Teboga.

The island is located in the Pacific Ocean and belongs to the State of Panama.

Until recently, the island’s inhabitants suffered from a severe shortage of drinking water. GES has provided the Government of Panama with a complete solution that included a pumping station, a desalination plant that provides water at the rate of 1,000 cubic meters per day, as well as a large storage tank.

The water problem is completely solved and local residents can now develop the tourism business that was limited due to the shortage of potable water.
